The TopShield® Defender TU-HT is an advanced roofing underlayment constructed from a high-temperature SBS modified bitumen membrane that withstands temperatures up to 257F. It features a non-woven polyester top face, perfect for tile roofing, and a self-adhesive underface with a silicone split-back release film for easy installation.
This underlayment offers straight forward installation, resistance to weather fluctuations, and up to 180 days of UV exposure protection. It is compatible with various coverings, including ashphalt shingles, metal roofing, and slate tiles, and can be used on substrates such as plywood, OSB, or asphatic panels. Refinforced with a glass mat and with a thickness of 67 mils (1.7mm), it also features a self-sealing membrane that protects around the nails and screws, making it ideal for different roof slopes and applications.
